Boston Acoustics Recepter Radio

This radio, in my long quest for great radios (since I wake up to, go through, and end my day with radio) is head and shoulders above the competition. Why? The user interface is ridiculously simple to use. It’s the first product I think I have purchased just because the interface suited me so well. Follow this link for the picture of the interface. Two buttons, on/off, preset scan; two knobs for volume and frequency scan. On top is a control panel, which is wisely covered for early morning palm-strikes to shut off the alarm; a largish snooze button with little textural bumps for feeling in the dark or with your eyes shut with sleep; two alarms, one for the initial alarm, one for the follow up. How do you set the time on the clock to set the time or the alarm? You turn the knob to advance or reverse the clock. Would it have been nice to have a white alarm clock? Having purchased mine at the local Best Buy, it’s silver and not white. The bass is a little thick, and the backup battery life is short, all true. And, true it was $150, but, given how much I use mine, well. You can’t always get what you want. But it’s soooo worth it.
